Day 23: Putting Yourself Out There with Jennifer Henson

Howdy!

It’s Tuesday and already feels like it should be Friday! So I want to share a really fun chat I had with Jennifer Henson whose excitement for her new Putting Yourself Out There moment is contagious, really it is. Jennifer is a self taught mixed media artist who loves to get her hands dirty. She loves to create art of all kinds, painting, sewing, & journaling to name a few. She recently has decided to start adding classes to show others that they can create too. Find Jennifer on IG @jennhensondesigns and on her etsy Shop HERE

Take a listen to our chat and get ready to get excited about life!

Do you have a wall up? Do you have hurdles blocking your way? One day, hopefully one day soon, those walls and hurdles will come down. Will you take that first step and be the reason they come down consciously? Will it be nudges and pushes from friends and family that will push you out there? Or will it just be you wake up one day like Jenn did and the Dam breaks and you FREE yourself to put yourself out there and you will be ready?! Whichever the case there are things to do while you are waiting for those things to happen.

Make your goals. Write them down. Break them down into steps, baby steps, or just regular ol’ adult steps. These will help you start to realize that these steps can be manageable, they can be a little less daunting than you might have thought, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll take that first one.

And if your hurdles are something a grade school friend, a high school teacher or someone you don’t even speak to anymore told you once YEARS ago, let’s just agree to burn that. Write it down on a piece of paper, and light it up….it serves you no purpose any longer. (do so in a non-burn-your-house-down way please with a fire extinguisher nearby 😉

Jenn I wish you all the luck with your new classes, your students will love you and your enthusiasm, I don’t think anything can stop you now!! SO WATCH HER NOW HIGH SCHOOL ART TEACHER!!

Now go be creative!
